SFA Compensation Scheme - Vouchers

SFA Compensation Scheme – High Street Vouchers

DIO is pleased to announce that the problems surrounding the issue of High Street Vouchers to successful SFA Compensation Scheme claimants have now been resolved. Claimants are now being sent details of the appropriate codes to allow Vouchers to be redeemed from our supplier’s site.
The Compensation Team is working to clear the backlog of successful claims on a date approved basis; it is expected this will be cleared by mid-November.

We would like to apologize once again for the time taken to resolve this issue. The Compensation Scheme remains open for new claims.

Introduction to Counselling Skills

Are you interested in gaining a basic understanding of the skills and approaches used in counselling? Our Introduction to Counselling Skills course can be studied one evening per week over ten weeks here at Moray College UHI.

About the course:
This course provides an entry level opportunity to develop interpersonal skills, self-awareness and theoretical knowledge.
It will provide a basic understanding of counselling, the skills used and approaches and perspectives as well as practical exercises.

What can I do on completion of my course:
There are other Counselling Opportunities available; Further Steps in Counselling Skills or Counselling Supervision Certificate.

Where will I study:
You will study 1 evening per week at the Moray College UHI campus in Elgin.

How long is the course:
The course will start on Tuesday 24 October over 10 weeks

How much does it cost:
Total cost of £160 for the 10 sessions

Entry requirements:
There are no formal entry requirements for this course

HM Forces Railcard- Save a 1/3 on Rail Fares

The following can apply for the HM Forces Railcard -

1. All members of the Regular Forces wherever they are stationed.

2. All members of the Volunteer Reserve. 

3. Non-Regular Permanent Staff.

4. Members of the Regular Reserve during periods of full time service of at least 3 months.

5. Commissioned Officers of the RAF Reserve carrying out full time duties in uniform in peacetime.

6. NATO personnel serving in official NATO UK appointments under the direct command of the MoD (or NATO HQ).

7. Members of other Government Defence Forces serving in official exchange appointments.

8. Spouses/civil partners of those above.

9. Dependant children of those above. Please see our Terms and Conditions for full details. 

10. Widows/Widowers and their dependant children may retain the use of purchased HM Forces Railcards for the remainder of the valid period until the existing expiry date of the card. Thereafter, HM Forces Railcards can be obtained by war widows/widowers and their dependants, through the Royal British Legion. Please see the Terms and Conditions for full details.

British Forces In Germany - The Lived Experience

Don't take it from us, tell the world the experiences that you had serving and living in Germany

The BFG Legacy Project is beginning – and you can be a part of it. 

By the time the last units in 20 Armoured Brigade leave Sennelager in 2019, British Forces will have been stationed in Germany for nearly 80 years. 
To mark this lengthy period of overseas deployment, HQ BFG is producing a book: 
British Forces in Germany – The Lived Experience.
This is a call for you to share your lived experiences with us.
